About Us
Perched on a rocky hillside above Agios Kirykos, the main port town of Ikaria, Kastro Hotel looks out over the Aegean and the town below. Family-owned since 1993, we are a small, adults-only hotel (18+) - a deliberate choice, so that our guests can enjoy real peace and quiet.
From June to September, guests enjoy our outdoor swimming pool (08:00-18:00) with free sunbeds and towels, and a breakfast buffet served daily from 08:30 to 11:00. Outside the summer season, the pool and breakfast are not available - a calmer time to discover the island at a slower pace.
The port and the town centre, with its tavernas and cafes, are a short walk away, the nearest beach is about 10 minutes on foot, and the Therma hot springs are 1.5 km from the hotel. Our two connected buildings have two elevators; the hotel is reached via the village steps or by car to the main entrance, with free public parking nearby.
We take pride in clean rooms, personal service and the relaxed rhythm of Ikarian life.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.
